Figure in bisquit of the Apostle Matthew. Made by Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) in Rome 1822. This reproduction from Royal Copenhagen in bisquit porcelain was produced after 1857. Thus produced before the year 1900. Appears in perfect condition. No damage or repairs. The factory mark on the back of the plinth with the factory's familiar three blue waves. H. 33 cm (12.99 inches)
